Daulton - affectionately known as "Dutch" - was drafted by the Phillies in the 25th round of the 1980 amateur draft, and made his big-league debut in 1983.
During his 14 seasons with the Phillies, he hit 134 home runs, 189 doubles and knocked in 567 RBI. He was selected to three All Star Games (1992, '92, '95) and won a Silver Slugger in 1992.
In 1997, Daulton was traded to the Marlins, where he won his first and only World Series title. After the season, he retired from baseball.
In 2010, the Phillies organization recognized the former catcher's accomplishments by inducting him into their Wall of Fame.
Now retired, Daulton hosts a daily show on the Fanatic called "Talkin' Baseball with Dutch."
Get well soon, Dutch.
