Pirates beat Phillies, 2-1, in extra innings

The Phillies fell to the Pirates, 2-1, in 12 innings on Friday night at PNC Park. Cole Hamels allowed one run on one hit, walked three, and struck out four in eight innings. Danys Baez picked up the loss.

Kyle Kendrick will start for the Phillies on Saturday against Pirates starter Charlie Morton. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at PNC Park.
