Union fans already consider Sebastien Le Toux an All-Star.

Yesterday, Major League Soccer confirmed it by adding the Frenchman to the 23-player roster in advance of the July 28 match against Manchester United in Houston.

The roster lists Le Toux as a midfielder though he is utilized as a striker for the Union.

In addition, Le Toux, 26, garnered his second MLS Player of the Week honor. The distinction, voted by the media, bares Le Toux' name again, having earned his first award in Week 3 after scoring a hat trick in the Union's 3-2 defeat of D.C. United.

"It's an honor for me to be a part of this, but it's not my main job," said Le Toux, who finished with a goal (the game-winner in extra time) and an assist in the Union's 2-1 win over Toronto FC Saturday. "My job is to continue to help my team earn three points and that is my focus."

Due to international competition for five members of the All-Star First XI selected last week and an injury to Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman, MLS All-Star coach Bruce Arena - current coach of the Los Angeles Galaxy - selected 11 additional players (counting Le Toux) for the game-day roster.

The other players were: goalkeeper Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake); defenders Kevin Alston (New England Revolution), Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA), Wilman Conde (Chicago Fire) and Heath Pearce (FC Dallas); midfielders David Ferreira (FC Dallas), Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo), Shalrie Joseph (New England Revolution) and Jeff Larentowicz (Colorado Rapids); and forward Juan Pablo Angel (New York Red Bulls).
