Super Bowl debates: Philly and Boston writers go head to head

Sunday's football game isn't the only contest in Minneapolis this week: Writers from the Philadelphia Inquirer and Boston Globe are also going head to head.

Ahead of the Super Bowl match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots, our writers will debate a variety of topic on Facebook Live. Tune in each day (you can follow Philly.com on Facebook here) for video of the debates.

Sunday, Feb. 4: We're at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for our final edition of Boston vs. Philly – sports columnists debate live from the biggest stage in football! Bob Ford of the Inquirer breaks it down with Ben Volin of The Boston Globe.

Saturday, Feb. 3: The Globe's Mark Shanahan and David Murphy of the Inquirer talk about Boston and Philadelphia – what annoys them and what they like about the other city, and what the Super Bowl means to each.

Friday, Feb. 2: Nora Princiotti of the Globe and Marcus Hayes from the Inquirer talk impact players and the mindset in each team's locker room.

Thursday, Feb. 1: Mike Sielski from the Inquirer and Dan Shaughnessy from the Globe give their overall takes on the game, discuss Nick Foles vs. Tom Brady and debate which city is a better sports town — Philadelphia or Boston?
