From mayor to president, Jason Kelce's Wikipedia page gets heavily edited

The Eagles' Jason Kelce is getting the star treatment from Philadelphians after giving an impassioned — and very colorful — speech during Thursday's Super Bowl parade.

Kelce, who donned a Mummers costume  and even biked along the parade route for a bit while mingling with fans, used the platform at the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to talk about the adversity the Philadelphia Eagles have faced throughout their history as an underdog team.

"Bottom line is, we wanted it more," he shouted. "All the players. All the coaches. The front office. Jeffrey Lurie. Everybody wanted it more. And that's why we're up here today. And that's why we're the first team in Eagles history to hold that freaking trophy."

Fans quickly took to social media to express their enthusiasm over Kelce's inspiring message.

Mayor Jim Kenney shared a photo of himself with Kelce, while the Philadelphia Police Department photoshopped Kelce in place of the William Penn statue atop City Hall.

And others put their commentary directly on Kelce's Wikipedia page.

Kelce became the Mayor of Philadelphia.

His address was called the GOAT (aka Greatest of All Time) of championship speeches.

Kelce was listed as the father of Mike Lombardi — a former NFL general manager whom Kelce called out in his speech for doubting the Eagles head coach (After Kelce's speech, Lombardi admitted that he was wrong and Kelce was right.)

Then, Kelce vaulted to the status of "next president of the United States."

Wikipedia's revisions history page for Kelce show that additional changes included "King of Philadelphia" and "more athletic Jesus."

Samantha Lien, a spokesperson for Wikipedia, said the edits to Kelce's page are known as "vandalism."

Kelce's Wikipedia page seemed to be restored to reflect accurate information on Friday.
