The Comcast Center served as a gleaming backdrop for the brass bands, floats and bobbing balloons highlighting a 97-year tradition in Philadelphia - the Thanksgiving Day Parade, America's oldest.

Bugs Bunny makes his way up the Parkway. Also featured in the Thanksgiving Day Parade were balloons of the Grinch and the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Bringing up the rear were Santa and Mrs. Claus, a reminder that the retail world's biggest season is about to begin.
