A former candidate for lieutenant governor in 2018, Bartos, 48, is one of many candidates of both parties jockeying for the nomination in Pennsylvania’s Senate race. One of the most competitive in the country, the election will help determine which party controls the U.S. Senate after 2022. The seat is currently held by Sen. Pat Toomey, a Republican who is not seeking reelection.
