At the Howe Farm in Downingtown, Pa., every Thanksgiving season means a week of slaughtering, processing, and packaging thousands of turkeys. Farm owners Nathan and Julie Howe, their five children, numerous extended family members, and several other workers all pitch in to get the turkeys from their farm to customers' tables.
