Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw was hired in 2020.
Hired by Mayor Jim Kenney early in 2020 as Police Commissioner of Philadelphia, Danielle Outlaw led the department during a time marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, the George Floyd protests, and high rates of shootings in the city.
