The National Museum of American Jewish History Masquerade Ball

The National Museum of American Jewish History held its annual Masquerade Ball in celebration of Purim on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Over 300 people from the Young Friends of NMAJH, Moishe House Philadelphia and Hillel’s Jewish Graduate Student Network dressed up in their best costumes to honor the Jewish holiday. Guests danced and took part in a costume contest during the celebration. Guests enjoyed light bites and an open bar in the NMAJH Ballroom, which overlooks Independence Mall. They also experienced the new exhibition entitled Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American, which explores baseball and the fans, players and characters that helped shape the American pastime. There was also a costume party, with a winner in the women's and men's category, as well as best dress couple.
