Delayed three weeks by a primary election ballot recount, the Republican nominee officially kicked off his general election campaign at an event in King of Prussia.
Oz defeated fellow Republican David McCormick by 951 votes in the May primary election to fill the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Pat Toomey. His Democratic opponent in November's election, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, suffered a stroke May 13 and might not return to campaigning until July.
