With 'Arabesque,' Kassis highlights the "cross-cultural nature of food, so we can realize how much influence we have on each other."

Reem Kassis, Palestinian writer and cookbook author, pours Allspice in her home kitchen. Kassis will have her second cookbook published in the beginning of April called The Arabesque Table. “This book evolved as a result of having written the first one where I started to see how many misconceptions there were about food and food history,” Kassis said. “I wanted to dig deeper and understand that part of the equation and I spent two years researching it.”
