The Foundation for Delaware County is hosting a 24-hour giving day, Delco Gives Day, this week May 8 through May 9. It is the first community-wide giving day in the Philadelphia area. The end of the event was celebrated at Rose Tree Park in Media with the announcement of the grand total raised - $1,580, 987.

Each participant got to choose which non-profit got the monetary amount they were able to grab.
