Parks and Recreation and Mural Arts Philadelphia unveiled two sister murals called Drink More Tap at Cruz Playground and Penrose Recreation Center to address community distrust in tap water, in neighborhoods where residents drink bottled water.

The City's Water Dept., Parks and Recreation and Mural Arts Philadelphia unveiled two sister murals called Drink More Tap at Cruz Playground and Penrose Recreation Center to address community distrust in tap water, in neighborhoods where residents drink bottled water. The murals, which feature local residents who were photographed for the project, were designed by Salvadoran artist CALO Rosa, who was commissioned by the City in 2019. The art projects are part of the Drink More Tap campaign, inspired in recent water consumption research conducted by Water Dept. and Penn.
