Hundreds marched in support of Palestine in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, following a ceasefire on Friday between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip after almost two weeks of fighting. At least 243 people, including 66 children, were killed in Gaza, according to its health ministry. Twelve people, including two children, were killed in Israel. The protesters demanded an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and for the U.S. to stop funding Israel's military. Similar protests in cities across the U.S. have taken place over the past couple weeks.
