Every summer Sunday afternoon in Newtown Square, a baseball team for young adults with disabilities plays the game with real major-league rules.

When young ball players with physical and intellectual challenges age out of Little League baseball’s Challenger Division, a team founded by the late Joe Catania gives them the opportunity to keep playing. The Angels split into two teams and play a game they love every Sunday from May to October on a turf field with dugouts and home-run fences. Reporting by Inquirer staff writer Matt Breen.
