Officials pictured during video release after fatal police shooting

Police on Tuesday released surveillance footage of the Fairhill corner store shooting that left a man dead and an officer wounded, in an unusual move they said was needed to combat speculation after witness video was shared online over the weekend.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said that the 30-second social media video was misleading, and that more complete footage from store security cameras provided a clearer version of events.
