More than 100 firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze that ripped through a four-story building in Frankford on Friday morning. A Philadelphia Fire Department spokesperson said the blaze in a building on the 1200 block of Adams Avenue was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m. The fire quickly escalated to four alarms and firefighters battled more than three hours to control it. No injuries were reported, but some vehicles were damaged.
