The glass in one section of the rink is clouded with frost during the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation practice at the Laura Sims Skate House. Former Flyer Donald Brashear (not shown) conducted a clinic working with all the regular coaches, and afterward signed a Flyers puck for each of the 60-some players. The non-profit Snider Hockey uses the sport to “educate and empower under-resourced youth of Philadelphia to prosper in the game of life.”.
