On the market: A two-bedroom townhouse in Ocean City for $650,000
This well-loved home has two levels of living space with more than 1,360 square feet.
For Ann Carbo, the summers at the Jersey Shore with her husband, children, and grandchildren were about the happiest in her life.
She and her husband, Richard, bought the house in 1997. A daughter was a lifeguard and ran basketball camps. A son bought a fishing boat. And the grandchildren loved the weekends so much that they cried when it was time to leave.
But Ann is widowed now, the children are grown, and now is the time to sell.
And her daughter felt nostalgic when she saw the real estate pictures of the house in the Ocean Reef community.
“It’s very peaceful, like a mini-resort,” says Ann, who has spent many years taking care of the grandchildren in Ocean City and in her permanent home in Plymouth Meeting.
