DALLAS – Andre Drummond has the utmost respect for Dirk Nowitzki. The 76ers' 130-125 win marked a solid homecoming for Quentin Grimes. And this version of the Sixers might not win a lot, but they’re definitely going to play hard.

Drummond sat out the game, but the center paid homage to former Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki by wearing a Nowitzki T-shirt: “A lot of respect for Dirk, an honor to be able to play against Dirk, to have somewhat of a relationship with him."

Grimes scored 28 points in his first game in Dallas since the Mavs traded him to the Sixers on Feb. 6. “It was great,” Grimes said of his return. “I got to see my teammates’ faces I had a great relationship with and my mom was there."

The makeshift version of the Sixers played hard. “Everybody kind of got the next-man-mentality,” Grimes said. “If you are out there, we are not judging you by making shots and missed shots. Go out there and play hard and bring energy."
