Sixers-Heat: Embiid survives injury scare, but Philly gets routed in Game 5


The Sixers had won back-to-back games, but the Heat proved too much once again on their home court.

What you should know

  • The Sixers were blown out by the Heat, 120-85, in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Miami. The Heat now lead the series, 3-2.

  • Embiid took a shot to the right side of his face in the second quarter and remained on the ground for some time while trainers worked on him. But after going to the bench briefly, he returned to the game.

  • Game 6 will be Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center.
