The NBA announced its second-half schedule Wednesday, and the 76ers will open their second half against the Bulls in Chicago on March 11. The schedule will conclude on May 16 at home against the Orlando Magic.

The Sixers (21-11) have the best record in the Eastern Conference and sit a half-game ahead of the Brooklyn Nets (21-12). The East’s best teams will meet once in the second half at the Wells Fargo Center on April 14. Before the All-Star break, the Sixers have four more home games beginning on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Sixers’ final game before the break is March 3 against the visiting Utah Jazz. In the second half, the Sixers will play 36 games. NBA teams are playing 72 games instead of the usual 82 in this shortened season that began Dec. 22.

The Sixers, who have yet to face Milwaukee, will play the Bucks three times with all three nationally televised: Wednesday, March 17 on ESPN (7 p.m), Thursday, April 22 on TNT (7 p.m.) and Saturday, April 24, on ESPN (3:30 p.m.).

The Sixers longest road trip will be six games beginning March 21 at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks. After that they visit Golden State on the 23rd, the Lakers on the 25th, the Clippers on the 27th, Denver on the 30th before ending with a game at Cleveland on April 1.

The second half of the season will end on May 16. The play-in tournament for teams 7-10 in each conference will begin May 18-21. The playoffs are slated to run from May 22 through July 22.

Here is the Sixers breakdown for the second half. The Sixers will play nine back-to-backs, with three each in March, April and May.
