Sixers-Raptors NBA playoffs: Game time, how to watch and stream Game 7
“Somebody get ready to send this to Freezing Cold Takes," wrote on Reddit user.
The Sixers could end up in the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2001 with a Game 7 win over the Raptors tonight in Toronto.
But at least someone in the organization is acting as though the Raptors have already won.
The Who announced on Twitter that their June 1 concert at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto had been moved to September “due to anticipated Toronto Raptors playoff schedule.”
The Eastern Conference Finals, which will air on TNT, are scheduled to run from May 15 through May 27, if a Game 7 ends up being required. So the Raptors and The Who are not only assuming a win over the Sixers — they’ve “anticipated” Toronto will defeat the Milwaukee Bucks and end up in the NBA Finals.
As one Reddit user wrote, “Somebody get ready to send this to Freezing Cold Takes.”
This isn’t the first time The Who have been forced to shift their schedule around the Raptors. During the 2016 playoffs, the band’s concert at the Air Canada Centre was delayed one day so the Raptors could play Game 5 of their first-round series against the Indiana Pacers.
Later in those same playoffs, a Pearl Jam concert was also pushed back a day so the Raptors could play Game 5 against the Miami Heat in that year’s Eastern Conference semifinals.
The tip-off for Sunday’s game is 7 p.m.
