Sixers takeaways: Athleticism needed; clutch foul shooting; Maxey roughed up
Can't keep up
The collection of available players, for the most part, couldn’t keep up with the young Magic players. Aside from Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr., the Sixers were either older or just not athletic enough. They stayed in the game with hustle.

Good foul shooting
The Sixers shot 21-for-22 from the foul line with Maxey making 12 of 13 free throws. Foul shooting had been a problem for the Sixers this season and a contributor to several of their losses. But they’ve made improvements lately.

Where were the calls?
Maxey attempted the most foul shots, and could have easily attempted more. There were several times when the All-Star point guard didn’t get the call when he was knocked to the floor while driving to the basket. This has become common.
