10 U.S. men’s World Cup heroes from past tournaments
The U.S. hasn't had a ton of success at the World Cup, but that doesn't mean there's been a shortage of incredible moments or impactful players. Here are 10 of the best.
The 2022 World Cup has finally arrived, with games set to begin Sunday in Qatar. And unlike the 2018 men’s tournament that was played in Russia, United States fans will actually have a rooting interest this time around after the team failed to qualify for the last one.
Ahead of the U.S. men’s national team’s first game against Wales on Monday — when a new star could begin etching his name in the history books — we thought now would be as good a time as any to take a trip down memory lane and look back at some of the past World Cup heroes from the USMNT.
