Eagles sign former 3d-round pick Marsh

The Eagles signed cornerback Curtis Marsh on Tuesday morning. Marsh, 25, was a 2011 third-round pick for the Eagles. He fractured his hand in the second preseason game, limiting how much the coaching staff could see him. They waived him after cut-down day, but bring him back now with a need at cornerback.

The Eagles have only four on their active roster and one on practice squad. Bradley Fletcher suffered a pectoral injury on Sunday, and his status for this week is unknown.

At 6-foot-1 and 197 pounds, Marsh has good size. The team saw potential in him under the previous regime, but he never developed into a consistent contributor.

Marsh is expected to practice with the team on Tuesday.
