Marathon swim

Episcopal Academy’s Ivan Puskovitch will compete in the 10-kilometer marathon swim for Team USA, which starts bright and early at 1:30 a.m. The race will take place in the Seine, despite concerns about dirty water and E. coli infections.

Women's basketball: USA vs. Australia

Kahleah Copper (right) and Team USA will play in the semifinals against Australia at 11:30 a.m. A win would guarantee the North Philadelphia native her first Olympic medal.

Men's volleyball: USA vs. Italy

Track and field: Women's 400-meter final

Former Penn State runner Alexis Holmes — yes, those are her star-spangled nails — will run in the women’s 400-meter final at 2 p.m. Holmes is looking to win her first Olympic medal.

Men's 86-kilogram freestyle wrestling
