Kylie Kelce tops Spotify and Apple podcast charts after debut episode of ‘Not Gonna Lie!’ podcast
After her debut episode last week, Kelce’s podcast dethroned “The Joe Rogan Experience” for the top spot in the U.S. on Apple and Spotify’s podcast charts.
“I am by no means a professional at podcasting,” Kylie Kelce said on her debut episode of Not Gonna Lie! with Kylie Kelce. But nothing could be further from the truth after her Not Gonna Lie! podcast claimed the top spot in the U.S. Apple and Spotify charts.
After one episode, Kylie — wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce — has surpassed Joe Rogan’s podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. Kylie stands at No. 1 with Rogan following in the No. 2 spot.
Dethroning Rogan is no easy task as he has maintained a steady dominance over the podcast charts with more than 18 million subscribers on YouTube and a massive multiyear deal with Spotify. His popular podcast also had the most listeners on Spotify this year. But now as the podcast landscape continues to evolve, Kylie Kelce is making herself a viable competitor for the top spot.

Before she even released an episode, her podcast was second on Spotify’s charts behind The Joe Rogan Experience.
In her debut episode, when asked what her podcast would be about she said, “Women, sports, and motherhood.” Her authentic storytelling about family, relationships and other trending topics has captured the attention of many.
“I decided to do a podcast because at the end of the day I tried to stay quiet and sort of do the Homer Simpson roll-back-into-the-hedge and no one was allowing it,” Kelce said on her first podcast episode released last week. “There were still articles and people talking about our families. So, here’s the deal: if you’re going to talk about our family, you’re going to talk about me, you might as well hear it from me.”
Given that her debut episode has become the most-listened-to podcast on Spotify and Apple, it’s safe to say Kylie — similar to her husband, Jason, who cohosts the New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis — is becoming a leading voice in the podcast world.
