Aaron Brooks meets top seed Azamat Dauletbekov of Kazakhstan in the opening round of 86-kilogram men's freestyle wrestling at 5:14 a.m. Brooks was a four-time NCAA champion at Penn State but is unseeded in the Olympic tournament.

Women's volleyball: USA vs. Brazil

Penn State’s Haleigh Washington (pictured on the left) and Micha Hancock play in the semifinals against Brazil at 10 a.m. Team USA has medaled in four consecutive Olympics and a win would give it a chance to defend its gold from Tokyo.

Women's water polo: USA vs. Australia

Episcopal Academy graduate Jovana Sekulic and the women’s water polo team face Australia in the semifinals at 1:35 p.m. A win will give the Flavor Flav-backed team the chance to defend Olympic gold from Tokyo.

Track and field: Men's 200-meter final

Fresh off his photo-finish win in the 100-meter final, Team USA’s Noah Lyles will compete at 2:30 p.m. in the final of the 200-meter race as he looks to win his second gold medal of the Paris Games.

Men's basketball: USA vs. Serbia

Joel Embiid and Team USA meet reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokić and Serbia in a semifinal at 3 p.m. The U.S. blew out Serbia in the group stage, 110-84. A win here would give the Americans the chance to play for their fifth straight gold.
