Men's soccer: USA vs. New Zealand

The Union’s Nathan Harriel and Jack McGlynn (both pictured), along with Medford, N.J. native Paxton Aaronson, take on New Zealand in a men's soccer group stage match at 1 p.m.

Field hockey: USA vs. Argentina

Locals Ashley Sessa, Kelee LePage, Karlie Kisha (pictured), and Phia Gladieux take on Tokyo silver medalists Argentina for Team USA’s first field hockey match of the Games at 1:45 p.m.

Table tennis: Women's singles

Sewell, N.J., native Amy Wang is competing in her second Olympics for Team USA at table tennis beginning at 9 a.m. She'll also compete in women's team table tennis.

Tennis: Men's singles

His match won't be televised and may be nearly over by the time you wake up, but Voorhees Township, N.J., native Tommy Paul will compete in the first round of the men’s singles tournament against Italy’s Luciano Darderi at 6 a.m.

Men's volleyball: USA vs. Argentina

Penn State alums Matt Anderson, Aaron Russell, and Max Holt will compete for Team USA against Tokyo bronze medalists Argentina in their first match of the Games at 3 p.m.
