Preparations underway for presidential debate in Philadelphia

Preparations are underway at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia for the upcoming presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Vince Stango, the center's chief operating officer, said the center is an ideal location to host the debate, a perfect back drop to the American democary in action. The National Constitution Center showcases exhibitions and events related to the US Constitution and is located right next to Philadelphia's Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were both debated and signed. The Center previously hosted the Democratic Party presidential debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in 2008, and the 2020 town hall event with President Trump and candidate Biden. The 90-minute debate will be hosted by ABC News on September 10 and is considered one of the most anticipated political events leading up to the 2024 election.
