Sixers owner Josh Harris asked why he changed his mind about the downtown Philadelphia arena

Sixers managing partner, Josh Harris, who rarely made public comments about the team’s initial plan to construct a Center City arena, said NBA commissioner Adam Silver called our Harris and Comcast CEO Brian Roberts for 'fighting.' Harris said Silver encouraged them to work together on an arena project in South Philly. The Sixers and Comcast — which owns the Wells Fargo Center through a subsidiary — “both saw an opportunity to do something bigger than we both had planned.”
