NFL draft grades roundup: High marks for the Eagles' massive draft haul

In 2024, Howie Roseman and the Eagles built an elite secondary through the NFL draft thanks to rookies Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Will the Birds have the same luck with their 2025 class? Here's how the experts rate their ten picks in this year's NFL draft ...

The Inquirer: Three thumbs up for Jihaad Campbell

So far, Inquirer Eagles writers have only weighed in on the Jihaad Campbell pick, but it's a unanimous thumbs up. "Combine Campbell’s short-term floor and the long-term upside ... and there’s not much to quibble with," writes EJ Smith.
ESPN: A-

ESPN praised the Eagles' selections, especially first-rounder Campbell, second-rounder Andrew Mukuba, and sixth-rounder Cameron Williams. "Roseman has done it again, selecting solid players throughout the draft," wrote Mel Kiper.
CBS Sports: B+

CBS Sports liked the Mukuba pick best of the Eagles' ten selections, writing that he "would have been a higher pick" if not for his size. "They added a bunch of talented players. Howie Roseman had another good draft," wrote Pete Prisco.
The Athletic: 11th

The Athletic didn't give a letter grade, but rated the Birds' draft 11th, praising the Campbell pick. Dane Brugler wrote, "It sounds like he might become the Eagles’ version of Micah Parsons, which is an ideal fit for his talent..."
Bleacher Report: A

Bleacher Report praised the Birds for finding best positional fits in Campbell and Mukuba. "Roseman and the Eagles tend to shine on draft weekend, and it would seem that they've done it again in 2025," wrote Kristopher Knox.
Fox Sports: A-

Fox Sports praised much of the Eagles' draft class, including local quarterback Kyle McCord. "McCord flashes starter-caliber accuracy, serving as a late-round investment policy for a team that seemingly has it all," wrote Rob Rang.
