Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday: Restaurant’s Liberty Place location has closed
Patrons were greeted by a sign.
There is an end to the Endless Garden Bar, after all. The Ruby Tuesday location at Liberty Place has closed without warning after 14 years.
Patrons on May 14 — yes, a Tuesday — were greeted by a sign that noted the closing and apologized for “any inconvenience.”
The casual chain eatery, whose other locations span greater suburbia, opened at 17th and Chestnut Streets in summer 2005.
The reason? Could be internal issues within Ruby Tuesday, which has been shedding locations of late and lost its CEO last fall to TGI Friday’s.
I’m awaiting comment from the parent company and from Liberty Place’s leasing office.
