Vandals destroyed the yarn display at Passyunk Square. Now locals are crocheting its replacement.

The Drunken Knitwits, a collective of city knitters and crocheters, unveiled their latest yarn bombing project in March at the Singing Fountain. In April, two vandals destroyed the display. Now, the Knitwits are working with locals to contribute to a new and improved display ahead of Flavors on the Avenue, featuring food-themed knit or crocheted items to go with the festival theme.
