Action Bronson makes cheesesteak fries with Philly native Dave Fedoroff

Rapper Action Bronson may have been in town last week, but Philadelphia is in his mind even when he’s not here. Or, least our sandwiches are.

Rapper Action Bronson may have been in town last week, but Philadelphia is in his mind even when he's not here.

Or, least our sandwiches are.

The "Easy Rider" hitmaker will debut a F--- That's Delicious 4/20 holiday special on Thursday that will feature Bam Bam's takes on New York's best foods. And one of those foods is cheesesteak french fries, which Bronson cooks up with Fedoroff's Roast Pork owner and Philly native Dave Fedoroff.

The video below contains foul language. Please watch at your own discretion:

Fedoroff's shop focuses on Philly specialities like cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches. As Gothamist reports, Fedoroff and his wife, Stella, moved to New York in 2012 and began the business as a sandwich stand before opening their first brick-and-mortar location last year.

Cheesesteak fries, of course, are readily available here in the Philadelphia (my favorite are at Cosmi's Deli in South Philly). But to New York native Bronson, the idea appears to be a whole new world. Even Federoff admits in the clip to not having made an order of them before.

"It'll live in history," Bronson says of cheesesteak fries. "It'll live in history forever."

The order itself consists of chopped steak, fries, long hots, onions, and Whiz. As producer The Alchemist notes, the Whiz is "the secret," and makes the dish "like a poutine, beef." He also uses the term "Whiz that down" to mean "put Whiz on that," which Philadelphia immediately should start doing.

Bronson, meanwhile, calls cheesesteak fries "the best idea you could have probably thought of." And the man is no stranger to cheesesteaks — in 2015, he had a traditional Philly Taco (a Lorenzo's slice wrapped around a Jim's steak) following a set at Made in America.

The rapper also visited Philadelphia last week, eating dinner at Zahav and buying smoking accessories on South Street.

Bronson's 4/20 special will air Thursday at 10:30 p.m. on Viceland. A more expansive trailer is below:
