Di Bruno's exploring craft beer sales at new store

Di Bruno Bros. is exploring the idea of offering craft beer for sale at its newest store, in The Franklin on Ninth Street at Sansom.

The retailer, which is keeping most details under wraps for now, is talking to the Washington Square West Civic Association about an idea to obtain a liquor license. The plan would include growler-filling.

The city zoning board would rule on the application. Businesses typically get the blessing of neighborhood groups before going before the zoning board.
