Earl's is returning to Peddler's Village
Earl's New American, opening this spring, is billed as polished and casual, with contemporary cuisine from chef Bill Murphy, who was chef at the previous incarnation.
Peddler's Village in Lahaska, Bucks County, is looking at April for a new restaurant in the space on Street Road off Route 202 that over the last decade has been Earl's Prime (a steakhouse) and until its closing a year ago, Earl's Bucks County.
Earl's New American is billed as polished and casual, with contemporary cuisine from chef Bill Murphy, who was chef at the previous incarnation. The restaurant is planning an extensive wine list and wine-themed dinners.
("Earl" happens to be Peddler's Village founder Earl Jamison, who died in 2003.)
Rebekah Brown of Bethany Design is setting up a farmhouse feel at the 140-seater by working with wooden furniture, weathered timber flooring, copper ceiling tiles, and other reclaimed materials. A fireplace is set into a stone wall.
Earl's New American follows recent renovations at the Golden Plough Inn.
