IronPigs to change name to Cheesesteaks for one game

In an example of a minor-league baseball team making a major-league marketing move, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs - the Phillies triple-A team - will change its name to the Cheesesteaks for their June 10 game against the Durham Bulls.

The 'Pigs are asking fans to vote on the game-day hats. Should they have a logo with a cheesesteak served "wit" or "witout," as in with or without onions?

The marketing department is heavily involved, creating a line of apparel including hats ($28 and $34), T-shirts ($20 and $24), and socks ($15).

The graphics, by the way, are cheesy. They depict gloppy, orange Whiz.

The voting and backstory are here.
