Approaching its third anniversary, the Fishtown Mexican hipster bar Loco Pez (2401 E. Norris St.) is preparing to expand next door.

Work has been going on while the bar is open; just about all you can tell right now is a curtain at the end of the existing bar that separates the spaces.
Beckham said the new side will have a somewhat nautical vibe, as a customer created a whimsical 5-foot sailfish sculpture that will hang on a wall.
