Free tacos on Revolution Taco's opening day in Rittenhouse
The counter-service shop is due to open officially on Jan. 8.
Friday, Jan. 8 has been set as the official opening of Revolution Taco, a counter-service Mexican shop at 2015 Walnut St. in Rittenhouse.
On opening day, Mike Sultan, Carolyn Nguyen, and Alan Krawitz will give away tacos - one per customer - from noon to 1 p.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m.
The 30-seat BYOB, which passed its city health inspection on Monday, Dec. 28, is open with limited hours and menu.
All three are food truckers - Sultan and Nguyen own the popular food trucks Street Food Philly and Taco Mondo, while Krawitz has Say Cheese.
