The food lineup at the Winter Classic

Guapos Tacos and Nomad Pizza Co. will set up at Citizens Bank Park, where Aramark will dish soups and panini.

Even hockey fans without a ticket to Jan. 2's Winter Classic game at Citizens Bank Park can eat well.

Aramark says it's enlisted Bassett's Original Memphis BBQ from Moorestown, Jose Garces' taco truck, Guapos Tacos, and the Nomad Pizza Co. wood-fired pizza truck to operate outside the stadium before the opening faceoff. (Nomad is due to open a restaurant at 611 S. Seventh St. next month.)

Aramark expects to sell 12,000 cups of coffee and hot chocolate, plus 2,000 bowls of soup (tomato bisque or chicken, cannellini bean and Tuscan kale).

The hot panini selections are maple roasted turkey (with oil-cured tomatoes, thick cut bacon and brown butter and sage mayo on ciabatta) or whole grain mustard-marinated petit filet and Vermont cheddar grilled cheese.

It's created a Flyers-inspired hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, orange sprinkles and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Hot-chocolate stands also will sell hot apple pie, s'mores, coffee and tea. Prices have not been announced.

Fans in the Hall of Fame Club or suites can buy breakfast sandwiches made with cage-free eggs and served on Liscio's rolls. In addition, Aramark says, its senior executive chef, Glenn Richmond, has created a menu of pork sandwiches, skirt-steak sandwiches, lobster salad BLTs, and Victory Lager braised beef brisket. Desserts will include butterscotch bread pudding with bourbon crème anglaise, cupcakes, cookies stuffed with chocolate ganache, hazelnut or spiced butter cream. There's also a special hot chocolate made with steamed milk, Belgian chocolate and mini marshmallows.

Ashburn Alley will have its usual summertime stands like Tony Luke's, Chickie's & Pete's, Bull's BBQ, Seasons Pizza, and Campo's. Planet Hoagie will also offer special sandwiches and chili. Two beer gardens will be set up on the 200 and 300 levels. Two Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation stands (in Sections 121 and 210) will sell drinks for charity.
