No Lion: Penn State Creamery ice cream at new Ventuno
New casual option in the RiverView at 21st and Chestnut Streets.
Rittenhouse has another casual eating option, as Victor Fellus has opened Ventuno on the ground floor of the RiverWest condo building at 2101 Chestnut St. (267-457-3056), across from Agno Grill.
Among Fellus' holdings are Mix and Victor's Bar, also in the RiverView but closer to 21st Street. (Ventuno is Italian for "21.")
Ventuno's menu is based on soups, salads, sandwiches. What puts it over the top is the ice cream, imported from Penn State's Berkey Creamery.
It's open daily for lunch and dinner.
