Ownership is a hodgepodge of local food-and-beverage veterans, including Tony Montagnaro (the opening general manager at Pizza Brain) and Elixr coffee alum Will Darwall.
Right now, it's pretty much a coffee bar with ReAnimator and Elixr-roasted drinks pulled from a La Marzocco machine and a few cocktails and a half-dozen beers on tap.
Food and presumably a sign out front are on the way.
The project has been attempting a novel crowd-funding strategy, in which it is selling "shares," priced at $25 each, to its potential customers. Each share will buy $30 house credit. Each time a shareholder patronizes W/N W/N, he or she will receive 25 percent off his or her check, leveraged against this investment.
