Xochitl to be sold
Steve Cook and Michael Solomonov, founders of the Society Hill restaurant, are selling to friends, and promise to help during the transition.
After four years on Head House Square, Steve Cook and Michael Solomonov are selling Xochitl, their stylish Mexican restaurant.
They identify the buyers as friends Peter Leontaras and Demetri Pappas.
"All of the Xochitl staff will be offered their same positions under new management and Mike and I will be there to help during the transition," Cook said in a statement provided after I queried about the deal.
"With the upcoming opening of Federal Donuts and other business ideas that we have in development, we felt this was the best decision. We will continue to operate our restaurants Zahav and Percy Street Barbecue, and we wish Xochitl continued success in the years to come."
