Zahav's Solomonov going back to Israel
Michael Solomonov, chef-coowner of Society Hill's Zahav, will lead a culinary trip to Israel in March.
Before the opening of Zahav last spring, chef Michael Solomonov led a culinary trip to Israel for business partner Steve Cook and a few friends, and it ended up in the pages of Food & Wine.
He's going back in March, and the trip is open to anyone who'll pony up $3,950 plus tax (double occupancy). Among the highlights: the spot in Jerusalem's Old City that served as Zahav's inspiration, a traditional Druze dinner, and lunch with Solomonov's father.
