Coffee chain Saxbys has opened its seven student-run cafe, partnering with Penn State Smeal College of Business on the University Park campus.

Saxbys says it is the largest of its so-called Experiential Learning Program cafes, at 3,200 square feet, and it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

Jiahao (Ben) Yan, a Penn State sophomore, runs the shop as its first student cafe executive officer. He receives a salary and academic credit.

Experiential Learning Program locations exist across six campuses: Drexel University, Millersville University, Temple University, La Salle University, West Chester University, and Penn State University.
