The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest to remain open until March

The opening of Blue Cross RiverRink’s The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest brought a fresh new wintertime attraction to the Philadelphia area. Originally scheduled to pack up on Jan. 5, it has been decided that The Lodge will remain open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Mar. 2.

While the light show and craft market are gone with the holidays, you'll still be able to enjoy the 500-person warming tent, American style beer garden and delicious food from George Sabatino within The Lodge, in addition to the ice skating facility, along the Delaware Waterfront.

Ice skating sessions will run Monday – Thursday (5-8:30 p.m.), Friday (1 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.), Saturday (11 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.), Sunday (1 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.), and on Martin Luther King Day and Presidents' Day (11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.) from Jan. 6 until Mar. 2. The Lodge will be open Friday with snacks (1 p.m. - 1 a.m.), hot food (5 p.m. - 11 p.m.), and beer service (5 p.m. - 1 a.m.). Saturdays with snacks (11 a.m. - 1 a.m.), hot food (noon -11 p.m.), and beer service (noon - 1 a.m.). On Sundays with snacks and beer (1 - 9 p.m.), and hot food ( 1 - 8 p.m.).
