Use the best of summer fruit to make crisps and cobblers
Summertime living should be easy. Cold soup, barbecue, pie. But pie requires dough. Making it, rolling it, fiddling with it to fit into the pan, crimping the edges. Then there is the filling, which must be thick enough — not runny, which could ruin the delicate flaky crust, but not gummy with fillers. Pie requires finesse.
